Hey! I'm Alice Mawdsley
An U.K illustrator currently based in Barcelona. I studied illustration at Falmouth University, where my reportage work was longlisted for the World Illustration Awards. I enjoy projects that explore different cultures, everyday life, architecture, and food. My work often focuses on reportage illustration, collaborating with communities during my travels to create colorful drawings and screen prints that share the stories of the people I meet. I hope to use illustration to give others a voice while highlighting the everyday similarities that connect us all.
Drawing and exploring color palettes are key parts of my practice. You'll often find me enjoying the openness and spontaneity of capturing moments on location, bringing my sketchbook with me wherever I go.

It's crucial to complete the Beginner & Intermediate courses first, as it equips you with the skills needed to approach more advanced techniques with confidence.

MODULE 1 & 2: Finding Your Artistic Voice & Drawing With Constraints
Start your advanced journey by uncovering your unique artistic identity through expressive mark-making, stylistic refinement, and reflective sketching practices. Then challenge yourself with creative limitations, working under time pressure, with minimal tools, and in unpredictable environments. MODULE 3 & 4: Drawing the Figure in Depth & Complex Environments

COURSE STRUCTURE
This video provides a glimpse into what the course, tutorials, and additional materials look like.
The course are divided into several sections, containing the more than 30 video lessons and practical exercises. I recommend watching the sessions in order, as the courses offer a sequential and logical learning path.
Remember that you can always go back and watch the lessons as often as needed.
All videos are in FULL HD and you can adjust the speed, audio and quality.
In all my videos, I use a variety of visual elements, such as images, diagrams, and sketches, to enhance your learning experience. You'll also see me speaking directly to you, making the lessons engaging and interactive.
