Hey! I'm Alice Mawdsley
An U.K illustrator currently based in Barcelona. I studied illustration at Falmouth University, where my reportage work was longlisted for the World Illustration Awards. I enjoy projects that explore different cultures, everyday life, architecture, and food. My work often focuses on reportage illustration, collaborating with communities during my travels to create colorful drawings and screen prints that share the stories of the people I meet. I hope to use illustration to give others a voice while highlighting the everyday similarities that connect us all.
Drawing and exploring color palettes are key parts of my practice. You'll often find me enjoying the openness and spontaneity of capturing moments on location, bringing my sketchbook with me wherever I go.
